Kimberly Needham
Executive Assistant/LPC
I was born in Boise, Idaho and have lived here my whole life. I attended Boise State University where I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology. I received my Masters in Counseling at Boise State University, where I specialized in addiction. I have previous experience working with adults with disabilities as a Adult Developmental Specialist, and as a CBRS worker/Case Manager. I am happy to meet new people and have the opportunity to teach new skills, as well as having the ability to learn from them in return.
When I’m not at work, you can find me with my family or friends, my dogs, hitting the golf course, fishing, and camping. I have a passion for photography and reading as well!
My theoretical orientation is mainly Person-Centered where you are the expert in your own life (I help guide the journey!), Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) where we focus on changing negative thoughts/emotions and behaviors, Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) which is accepting the negative thoughts/emotions and feelings are a part of life and who we are, and a strengths-based approach to help you achieve your goals, and feel more confident!
My area of specialty include:
*Addiction

*Anxiety
*Coping Skills
