Karen Repetto

CBRS Specialist

Hello! I’m Karen Repetto, a Community-Based Rehabilitation Specialist at Visions Counseling and Education. Born and raised in Havertown, Pennsylvania, I’m the youngest of seven siblings. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Education in Language and Literacy in Pennsylvania. I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, in 2021 and then to Boise in July 2024, bringing with me a passion for education and a deep commitment to helping others.

Since 2006, I’ve been an elementary school teacher, primarily teaching 1st and 2nd grades in Pennsylvania and Colorado. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children with intellectual disabilities, an experience that I’ve found incredibly rewarding. I am also a reading tutor, which has further fueled my love for teaching children how to read.

When I’m not working, I love cooking, reading, watching stand-up comedy, and being outdoors. I enjoy riding my bike, paddle boarding, and hiking. I’ve been practicing yoga and meditation since 2016, which helps me stay grounded and focused. I have always loved the ocean and I have fallen in love with surfing since attending a yoga retreat in Costa Rica. I’m excited to bring my experience and enthusiasm to my role at Visions, where I can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
