Kaylee Wangelin

LMSW-Intern

I was born and raised in Idaho. I received my bachelor’s degree in social work from Lewis-Clark State College in 2024. I am currently working towards my master’s degree in social work, and I am a part of the advanced standing program through Idaho State University. Through my journey, I have now become a counselor for Visions Counseling and Education.

I am open-minded, and I strive to meet my clients wherever they are at. My experience has been with individuals with developmental disabilities. I am passionate about teaching others to advocate for themselves and exploring their full potential.

I work together with my clients to plan their own goals and expectations for the future, as well as building skills to help them reach their goals. I help clients to define their current situation and work to improve their quality of life. My approach is person centered and I highly respect the client’s right to guide their own experience with counseling. I love to work with my clients on breaking down barriers that they face in their life and encourage them to build on their strengths. I love to spend my free time walking and playing with my two dogs, Sarge and Roxie.
